For a typical 3-bed semi-detached house we usually recommend a 1.5 kWp flatpack system. This is the largest system that does not require planning permission. It produces circa 1490 kWh per year and will reduce your carbon footprint by circa 18.9 tonnes over twenty years.
The greater the kWp of the system, the greater the CO2 savings. Cool Power's domestic flatpack systems range in size up to a 3kWp system that will reduce your carbon footprint by almost 40 tonnes in twenty years.
Our custom solar PV systems are available in any size. Together, the systems that Cool Power has installed for Limerick County Council at their County Hall and Library Headquarters total almost 40 kWp and will reduce emissions by over 500 tonnes of CO2 over 20 years.
