Tim Cooper, an engineer, is one of the leading exponents of energy management and energy efficiency in Ireland. He was Buildings Director in Trinity College Dublin for over 20 years and oversaw many energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. He sourced funding for the Green Building in Temple Bar and currently manages the renewable energy technology installed in the building. Tim was first to ‘Grid Connect’ solar PV in Ireland and has been instrumental in developing the regulation around microgeneration. Tim Cooper has set up and run many companies both in the renewable energy sector as well as academic and IT related products. He is the founder and Director of Cool Power Ltd. and Cool Power Products Ltd., and a Director of CGE Cool Power Ltd.
